How we look after your data.
A short, plain-language page about what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. No dark patterns. No surprises.
Diorbit Technologies LLP runs this website and the work it represents. This page covers any information we collect through diorbit.com, and any information clients share with us in the course of an engagement.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to talk with you and run the work you've asked us to do. If you fill in a contact form, we hold on to your name, email, phone if you gave it, and the message itself. If we end up working together, we hold the project material you share with us for as long as the engagement runs.
- Information you give us directly: name, email, phone, company, and the contents of any message or document you send.
- Operational information about our work together: project documents, screenshots, access credentials you choose to share for builds.
- Light technical telemetry from our website: page views, referrer, country, browser type. We do not use third-party tracking pixels.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your message and decide together whether we should work on something.
- To deliver the work you have hired us for, including invoicing, status updates and handover.
- To improve the website itself. Aggregated, anonymous traffic patterns help us see which pages are working.
- To meet our legal obligations: bookkeeping, tax, contract retention.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the trusted services we use to run the studio, and only as far as they need to do their job.
- Our email provider, to deliver and receive correspondence.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to keep the site and any apps we ship online.
- Our accountant, when required by law.
- Any party you have explicitly asked us to involve, such as your team or external collaborators.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages: up to twelve months from the last interaction, then deleted unless you have become a client.
Client project records: for the length of the engagement plus seven years for legal and accounting purposes.
Website analytics: aggregated only, no personal identifiers retained.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within thirty days. If we cannot delete something because we are legally required to keep it (for example, an invoice), we will tell you exactly which record and for how long.
- Access · ask for a copy of the data we hold.
- Correction · ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
- Deletion · ask us to remove your data, subject to legal retention.
- Withdrawal · stop receiving any non-essential communication from us.
